As mentioned in my previous post, this is the collection of Tiffany Borchards. Her concept was formed by the idea of natural disasters like earthquakes, floods and scorched earth.
The designs in Nicole de Roubaix's collection tell the story of an enchanted forest.
Yesterday I got to merge my 2 loves: "Food & fashion". Kim Graham & Nicole Cheeseman collaborated to create this fun outfit as a form of art. For the skirt and corset they used fresh cucumber slices and matched it with a green chilli necklace.
Another lucky Fedisa fashion designer was privileged enough to receive an internship with a big fashion house. Robyn Keyser is on her way to New York to work for Louis Vuitton for a month and a half and the work below is going to form part of her portfolio. Taking these 360 spin animations was so much fun and I plan on doing this more often in my future shoots. This designer has a bright future in front of her and I love working with young talent on the rise.
Last year I did a catalogue shoot for Fedisa Designers who were instructed by Markham clothing to design a range of men's clothing under the term "Nautical Hipster" (Photos above). This name was soon to be interpreted into many forms of design and now, in 2014, it is everywhere from home décor with anchor-print to t-shirts and backpacks.
